We are pleased to present an update of the “6th Biennial Congress of the ASEAN Society of Colorectal Surgeons”, hosted by the Philippine Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Held in conjunction with the “3rd Scientific Meeting of the Philippine Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons”, the event will feature scientific presentations, plenary discussions, symposia, as well as nursing workshops, ostomates meeting, and lay fora.

We earnestly encourage you to block off the following dates for 2012: March 28 for the Pre-Congress Minimally Invasive Colorectal Surgery Workshop and a friendly golf tournament and March 29-30 for the Congress Proper. The main event will be held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza, Manila Philippines.

We assure you that you will find this congress a memorable and meaningful one since we have quite a prestigious roster of faculty from different parts of Asia , Europe and U.S. They will be sharing their cutting-edge techniques and groundbreaking developments in their respective areas of expertise. Aside from our comprehensive scientific programme, we are sure you will enjoy interacting with renowned international colorectal surgeons during plenary discussions and the fellowship night; as well as savor a little bit of what the Philippines can offer -- warm hospitality blended with exotic local and international cuisine; a touch of entertainment and light humor for which Filipinos are known for.
